Iron & Fern: From Inbox Chaos to Total Clarity
The Business
David and Caitlin run Iron & Fern, a wedding videography studio built on artistry, emotion, and intentional storytelling. When they came to me their work was thriving…but the backend was not.😅
Everything lived in inboxes, iPhone notes, and their heads. HoneyBook handled contracts and payments, but there was no shared calendar, project management, or central source of truth.

The Problem
The business had outgrown its structure, and their systems simply weren't built to match how the business actually runs now. Without documentation, shared workflows, or visibility into what was happening when, everything felt reactive. And as a couple running the business together, the lack of clarity bled into their communication and decision-making.

The Work
We started by mapping what was really happening — where things got stuck, what was living rent-free in their heads, and what a sustainable workflow would actually look like for them.

Cleaned-up and created new forms, proposals, canned emails, and automations - configured around their process, not a generic template, and updated to match their beautiful website & branding.
📝ClickUp
Set up from scratch so floating tasks and ideas had somewhere to live outside their brains, and they could see at a glance everything that needed their attention.
📅Calendar
No more running the schedule from memory or double-booking - we integrated the Honeybook scheduler into a new shared calendar so everything was accounted for, including personal appointments, and intentionally planned time off!
